Over the last two years, I have built, shaped, and advanced the Design Operations discipline within PNC’s Private Bank Digital organization—transforming how the UX team works, collaborates, measures success, and scales.
Building the Design Ops Foundations
I established and matured a new Design Ops practice that fundamentally improved how UX, product, and technology teams work together. Your work created:
Clear, repeatable processes for project kickoffs, workflow management, strategic work tracking, and onboarding.
Systems that improve team alignment, reduce ambiguity, and accelerate delivery.
A foundation strong enough to support a team that nearly doubled in size.
My operational frameworks are now core to how the team functions day-to-day.
Elevating Team Culture Through Talent Development
I made significant contributions to team growth and culture:
Designed a 4-part onboarding program that new hires described as the best of their careers.
Supported the onboarding of 10+ new contributors during a period of rapid expansion.
Led and mentored summer interns, helping them grow enough to deliver real features and value to the team.
I strengthened team cohesion, accelerated ramp-up time, and cultivated emerging talent.
Driving Large-Scale Tool & System Transitions
Figma Transition (2024)
Oversaw a year‑long migration from InVision to Figma.
Managed dependencies, shifting timelines, library organization, design system migration, and prototype rebuilds.
Delivered an exceptionally smooth transition, with the team fully integrated in just one month.
Material 3 Update (2025)
Created process strategies supporting adoption of new design and product technologies

Advancing Measurement & UX Strategy
I expanded Design Ops into UX strategy by leading a high-impact metrics initiative:
Researched the UX measurement landscape.
Consulted stakeholders across disciplines.
Leveraged new tools (ChatGPT) to define and refine solutions.
Delivered the Design Scorecard, linking UX decisions to business outcomes and quality standards.
The Design Scorecard now measures real features and is becoming a critical benchmarking and value-demonstration tool for UX.
